Course description

You must complete the UR Academy e-Learning Core Track, Pro Track, and Application Track before attending this training.

The Power User Technical Training course is an accelerated training course to expedite the learning of our large end users that are more involved in self integration. This course consolidates our Core Training (2 days), Advanced Training (2 days), Industrial Communications (1 day), and Service & Troubleshooting Training (1 day) into an accelerated 3 days. After completing the course you will have a comprehensive understanding of the UR Programming Interface (PolyScope), how to ensure the robot is setup correctly for the application it’s being used for and how to create dynamic programs through URScript. You’ll have an understanding of how the robot uses various industrial communication protocols to further integrate the UR robot and, finally, you’ll understand basic troubleshooting techniques and service procedures required when troubleshooting or repairing UR robots.

Note: Due to the accelerated nature of this course we will be conducting the class at a brisk pace, as such, it is intended for experienced engineers and people that can pick up these concepts quickly. This class is not for maintenance people or casual users.

Practical information

Training Schedule

This training is an accelerated course at 3.5 days starting on Tuesday (allowing Monday for travel) and ending the afternoon of Friday to enable participants to have an afternoon flight home before the weekend.

The Training Schedule will follow the below format unless otherwise noted by the trainer:

  • Day 1: 9am - 5pm
  • Day 2: 9am - 5pm
  • Day 3: 9am - 5pm
  • Day 4: 8am - 12pm

Cancellation Policy

If cancellation is received more than 5 business days before the first day of the Training a full refund will be granted. If cancellation is received less than 5 business days before the training, the participant will be charged 50% of the activity fee. In case of a participant not showing up for a training without prior cancellation, the full amount will be charged.

In the event that a Training is cancelled by the Training Provider a full refund of any paid amounts will be granted.

Registration Policy

The Trainings will be open for registration up until 5 business days before the first day of the training. After this date, no further registrations will be accepted.
