Key take-aways from this course

Course description
After the 2-day course, you will have hands-on experience with a UR robot. You will have programmed the robot several times to perform common tasks, including the operation of common peripherals (conveyors, sensors, grippers). You will be able to optimize a pick and place flow, perform palletization, understand safety concepts, and know the additional resources available to them both online and through other training courses. You will be ready to return to your own robot and create pick and place, palletization, and other common application programs on your own.
You must have completed the UR Academy free e-Learning Core Track before attending this training.
Training provider
Advolo was founded in 2012 by a group of people with common values and specific skills, who decided to combine passion and research to achieve a common goal by collaborating every day through teamwork.
We are more than just a group of professionals: we consider ourselves a big family with a common vision and are determined to use passion and skills to make a difference.
This aspect allows us to meet challenges in a way that is always innovative and revolutionary, and leads us to systematically invest in new technologies and applications to offer quality service through the latest tools and documents.
Our goal is to provide all manufacturers and users of products (machines, tanks, etc.) with the necessary advice, technical solutions and training to ensure their compliance with European and international product Standards, Directives and Regulations, on Legislative Decree No. 81 of 2008 and S.M.I. (Safety Consolidation Act) regarding the safety of equipment in work environments.
We provide technical design and document support. We handle for our clients the management of relationships with the various Notified Bodies that are part of the product certification process.
We are able to follow a project through all its stages, both during design and during the production phase, guiding the customer to the choice of specific components.
We have been involved in collaborative robotics since 2014, and in recent years we have developed specific skills that have led us to the creation of an impact tester and the definition of configurational parameters related to the certification of collaborative applications in compliance with the Machinery Directive/Regulation.
In 2022 we designed the first Cobot Safety Certification course. In 2024 we were chosen by UR as a partner among their certified Advanced Training Centers and we are unique trainers in Italy for the training / certification course Cobot Safety Certification.
